Land Resource Management thrives and survives on successful real estate transactions. Whether we’re consulting with a landowner on how to best develop their land parcel, or overseeing and executing a wastewater system for a recently purchased property, we’re all about facilitating successful real estate transactions for our customers. Below is some recent customer feedback we received from two clients that we enjoyed and thought we would share:

“Last fall I decided to begin the process of getting my Ashe County mountain property ready to list for sale.  Since I don’t live in the area, I knew I would need assistance in all the steps to make my listing appeal to any potential buyers.  At the recommendation of my Realtor, I initiated contacts for a new survey and septic permitting tests.  She knew that I should select a respected soil science testing firm to conduct the tests and secure a septic permit for my land.   Land Resource Management was the firm she recommended from working with other clients.  At my initial contact with Land Resource Management and Walker Ferguson, I knew that I had found a conscientious, knowledgeable professional with contacts in the mountains of North Carolina.  Mr. Ferguson promptly replied to my phone calls and emails  with clear answers to all my questions.  He guided me through this process, which can take some time due to weather conditions in the High Country.  Scientific thought went into where the pits and drainage system lines could be placed, and LRM kept me informed throughout each step.  Once the permit was approved, my Realtor highlighted this in her listing remarks for advertising my property so future buyers knew the property had Health Department septic approval in place.  Thanks to the quality of services provided by LRM, in less than 30 days my property was under contract and closed a few weeks later!  Many thanks to Walker and Land Resource Management!”  – W. “I highly recommend Land Resource Management. Our local health department would only approve our lot for an expensive drip system. Walker Ferguson was able to do a thorough evaluation of our lot and work with the health department to get our lot approved for a conventional system. Because of his efforts, we were able to sell our land. Additionally, the county benefits by having a house built on a parcel that would likely have remained vacant.” – L. Horton
