LRM now has Soil Scientist and Environmental Consulting offices in Asheville, Boone, and Murphy, North Carolina. Our multiple office locations allow us to efficiently cover our target markets of Western North Carolina and the upstate of South Carolina. “I just wanted to praise Walker Ferguson and his staff at Land Resource Management for the excellent service they provided. We were interested in moving from Florida to Hendersonville, NC. As non-natives, we needed the assistance of professionals who knew how to navigate the local bureaucracy. We found a great lot in the county, but it had no city water or sewer service. In the past, the county had declined to issue a well/septic permit on at least 2 occasions. We made a low-ball offer, contingent on receiving a permit. Our Realtor referred us to Walker Ferguson. He did a comprehensive soil study of the lot, and found one corner where a block panel drain field would work. Based on his report, the county issued the permit, and we purchased the lot, which had been considered unbuildable since the prior owner acquired it in 1986. Walker referred us to a certified septic installer, and we found a well driller (also named Ferguson, no relation). Our house is now under construction, and we give a great deal of credit to Land Resource Management for helping our retirement dream come true.”
