What a professional and trusted company Land Resource Management is to work with!  We were new to raw land development and knew nothing about septic systems, how they work or that there were different types.  So, we went to the county to get a permit and they came out, dug about 4-5  pits and said, yes, we can have a system, but it would have to be a “drip” system.  What did that mean?  We had to have an engineered plan drawn up and it would probably cost $30-$40k for the system.  Well, a few tears and we thought we may not be able to build with this cost.

We needed to talk to someone and we had a letter from Walker Ferguson from the time of our land purchase which said he had tested the soils for the developer. So, we contacted Walker and said….help!  What can we do?  He not only could help, but he was so patient and understanding of our lack of knowledge with all of this. He took time to teach us and help us understand what was involved.

I can’t say enough about how fortunate we were to find Land Resource Management and Walker!  The cost was very reasonable, but more importantly, they made us feel that we were important to them.  They work in a timely manner and took the worry out of having to do anything ourselves, especially dealing with the county.  I hope we don’t have other issues to need Walker’s services, but if we do, their number is in my speed dial!

So, after learning that he could be our advocate, he came out to our site and found an alternate plan and place for our system, which did NOT have to be a drip system and would be the normal cost for a normal type system.  We could now have our house!

Thank you for being there for us!
