Land Resource Management, PLLC (LRM) would like to send our best wishes to each of our colleagues, friends, and clients during these difficult times. Fortunately, our staff is continuing to work on projects throughout the southeast as an essential business for construction activities.
We continue to see more and more clients electing to obtain septic permits under North Carolina Session Law 2018-114 (HB374) https://www.ncleg.net/EnactedLegislation/SessionLaws/HTML/2017-2018/SL2018-114.html and The Engineered Option Permit (EOP) https://ehs.ncpublichealth.com/oswp/docs/rules/GS-130A-336.1.pdf. Each of the permitting routes expedites the septic system permitting process by putting additional responsibility and liability on the North Carolina Licensed Soil Scientist (NCLSS).
As an example, LRM’s projects in Henderson County, North Carolina alone have increased X10 year to date. These projects include everything from nursing homes, residential lots, to a greenhouse facility (100,000+ ft2). LRM has utilized (HB374) or the EOP to successfully permit approximately 80 percent of these projects. The remaining 20 percent have been permitted directly through the Henderson County Health Department.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve our clients and we wish everyone the best!
